ARTSPLACE Gallery invited submissions from artists across Atlantic Canada for CTRL ART DEL — an exhibition exploring how artists position themselves in relation to artificial intelligence, computerisation, robots, and machines.
The exhibition asks: Will you collaborate with the machine, using it as a tool, muse, or partner? Or will you resist it, through critique, distortion, sabotage, or satire?
Artists in this exhibition investigate questions of authorship, automation, and creativity in the age of algorithms and mechanised systems. Works span multiple media, embracing, challenging, or reimagining the role of AI, robotics, and technology in artistic practice.
