As inaugural artist-in-residence for Sable Island, musician and painter Rose Morrison is developing a body of work that combines field recordings, elemental abstract landscape paintings, and new musical compositions.
In conversation with Zoe Lucas (Sable Island Institute president), Rose will share early outcomes of the residency and highlight how art can serve as a bridge between cultural memory and environmental awareness, opening space for dialogue about ecological stewardship.
This talk continues ARTSPLACE's experiments with new tools for the age-old art of conversation. Join us in-person upstairs at ARTSPLACE or online via Zoom.
