Get ready for a big night of UNPLUGGED, LOW DOWN DIRTY BLUES with Theresa Malenfant & Scott Medfordand Kim Doolittle & John Ebata
Theresa Malenfant & Scott Medford
ECMA winner Theresa Malenfant and renowned guitarist Scott Medford have become one of the most popular blues duo acts in the Atlantic Provinces. They have been performing together in a band for years, but decided to work as a duo only 6 years ago. In that short time they managed to win second place in an International Blues Challenge (IBC) held in Memphis Tennessee.
Kim Doolittle & John Ebata
Kim Dootlittle is an Original Artist born in rural Nova Scotia and did her first paid gig as a child. She was a fixture in the Toronto Music Scene for many years playing Festivals and Events, competed in the International Blues Challenge in 2016 and 2020 & has shared the stage with Jeff Healey, Downchild Blues Band, Suzie Vinnick, Ken Whiteley and many more. She’s travelled the Globe with her Guitar in hand and feels like a Road Scholar —sharing her Muse through song and will be dropping her 10th album in 2026.
John Ebata is respected in all the extended categories of musician, song writer, producer, musical director, arranger and recording engineer. Equally versatile in all musical styles from jazz to world folk songs to rock and R&B, he has become the first choice accompanist of many great singer songwriters and acclaimed to be of the very top Canadian piano-keyboardists and continues to work with artists from all parts of the world.
