Cozy up your mid-winter with a little theatre!

Winter presses on with dark afternoons, frozen sidewalks, and long nights that seem to stretch on forever. WINTER WARMERS – One Act Festival pushes back with light, warmth, and shared experience. This curated buffet of emerging and established performances comes from the team behind Love Letters, Krapp’s Last Tape, and The Rocky Horror Show.

The evening moves through short works and monologues balancing sharp comedy with quiet intimacy. Theatre jokes sit alongside intimate moments that land close to home. Human-scaled theatre thrives in a warm room, surrounded by people, while the cold stays firmly outside.

The festival runs from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, including intermission. Expect a surprising and delightful night of laughs, tears, and theatrical turns as we gather against the cold and mark the slow return of light during winter’s longest stretch.

Join us in this very hygge celebration, where we take comfort in the warmth that grows when people sit together and watch something live unfold while winter holds fast. Presented by Wolfville Social Club, this one-act festival continues the company’s commitment to intimate, community-centred theatre that brings people in from the cold and sends them home warmer than when they arrived.
