About the film:
What if it isn’t just a question of how much housing, but what kind of housing and for whom?
Housing is one of the biggest challenges facing our country and one of the most hotly debated issues. Everyone's talking about it, but we aren't always asking the right questions. Instead of focusing on how much housing we need, we also need to look at what kind of housing and for whom.
There are genuine solutions to the housing crisis. Many are already happening, but they are often hiding in plain sight.
Join Dr Brian Doucet, Planning Professor at the University of Waterloo, as he goes coast-to-coast to uncover some of the project, policies and programs that are already making a difference across Canada.
Visit www.housingfilm.ca to learn more about this film.
No ticket or registration required. This event is first come, first served. Please arrive early to guarantee a seat.
