Music All Ages
Presented by The Prine Numbers
Al Whittle Theatre is pleased to host an evening of Atlantic Canadian songwriting at its finest, featuring Joe H Henry and Cameron Nickerson, with special guest Lily Gunn.
Joe H Henry brings a commanding presence and a deep well of experience to the stage. Known for his powerful voice, Henry’s songs are rooted in hard truths, lived stories, and the rich traditions of blues, soul and alt-country music. His performances are equal parts grit and grace, delivered with an honesty that resonates long after the final note.
Sharing the bill is Cameron Nickerson, a rising force in the Canadian bluegrass and roots scene. Blending progressive bluegrass with modern country storytelling, Nickerson’s music is energetic, heartfelt, and grounded in his Maritime roots. Fresh off a breakout year of national recognition and international performances, Cameron’s live shows balance virtuosic musicianship with raw, relatable songwriting.
Opening the night is special guest Lily Gunn, whose intimate songs and expressive delivery have quickly earned her a reputation as a compelling new voice in the region. With a sound that’s both tender and fearless, Gunn sets the tone perfectly for an evening centered on connection and craft.
This show brings together three distinct voices, united by strong songs, honest performances, and a shared love of roots music — all on the beautiful stage of the Al Whittle Theatre.
