SOUND DESIGN FOR THE THEATRE FOR YOUTH AGE 12-17
Participants will learn what Qlab is and how to use it for music/sound effects in a show. With the same stage-play from the Lighting Workshop, participants will build a Qlab file (in the groups from day 1) and combine it with the lighting show file to have a complete mini-show. No previous experience required. Participation in both the Lighting and Sound workshops is highly encouraged.
Wednesday March 18 from 9:30am – 4:30pm

FREE! Space is limited. Registration required.
What to bring:
Lunch, snacks and beverages for the day;
Clean indoor footwear (NOTE: students will not be able to participate without indoor footwear).
iPad or laptop (optional)

Participants do not have to sign up for both days, though highly recommended. Participants are expected to view a series of intro videos PRIOR to the start of either workshop.

Qlab is exclusively on apple computers. Participants are welcome to bring their own iPad / laptop. They are also expected to use them appropriately, geared towards the two days of workshops. Windows-based laptops are also welcome as software for lighting works on MAC/PC.
