Inspired by actual events, this political thriller by Larysa Kondracki recounts the story of Nebraska police officer Kathryn Bolkavac (Rachel Weisz), who discovers a United Nations cover-up relating to the trafficking of young women for the sex-trade after she accepts a job as UN peacekeeper in Bosnia. Her fight for justice leads the powers that be to fire her after which she launches a wrongful dismissal case and manages to clear her name.
