THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW – LIVE!
Presented by The Wolfville Social Club
Written by Richard O’Brien
Produced by Jeremy Banks
Directed by Jeremy Banks and Linda Fisk
After a sold out run in Wolfville in the Fall of 2025, this high energy, vaudville-style, gender-bending production comes to the King’s Theatre stage on Halloween night, featuring a dozen actors and a live band.
“Audiences are going to fall in love with the chaos, the camp, the music—and hopefully themselves a little, too,” says Linda Levy Fisk, Co-Director.
Premiering 50 years after the 1975 film, this live-stage rock-musical production honours the original’s defiant spirit. Rocky Horror broke taboos around gender, sexuality, and performance—becoming a cult refuge for outsiders and queer communities for generations. Now, in rural Nova Scotia, queer culture continues to evolve and invite everyone to participate, in direct opposition to growing global tensions, making this production more vital than ever.
This rendition of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW marks the largest live production of the show in the Annapolis Valley’s history. Produced by Jeremy Banks, with an incredible team of talented actors and musicians on stage, and a great backstage team.
“The first time I saw Rocky Horror was in third year university, when I was identifying very differently than who I am today. Being a member of this cast, performing in the town (Wolfville) I found myself in, is a wholesome full circle moment that I’m incredibly excited about”, says performer Adrien Lewis.
“This isn’t just a musical,” says producer Jeremy Banks. “It’s a celebration of difference and a challenge to the norm. In our version, we’re breaking audience expectations even more than the original—featuring a trans performer in a lead role, gender-bending casting, and a renewed focus on joy, risk, and transformation. It’s everything Rocky Horror should be— absolutely unforgettable.”
