In anticipation of Vandana Shiva’s visit to the Annapolis Valley on Friday Feb. 24, Just Us! Coffee is showing the documentary film “BULLSHIT” on Monday. Feb. 13 at 7 pm at the Al Whittle Theatre.
The film was made in 2005 on the life and work of Dr. Vandana Shiva, environmental and food activist. Oxfam has hailed her as “one of the most influential women in the world.” The film follows Vandana Shiva over a two year period from her organic farm in northern India to institutions of power all over the world, including American bio-tech giant Monsanto, one of her greatest opponents.
“BULLSHIT is a fantastic and inspiring film. Vandana Shiva deserves the Nobel Prize.”
