POISED TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES!
An exciting new concept in performing arts training is set to give Canadian youngsters a great start in life, and children in the Annapolis Valley now have a performing arts school right on their doorstep!
Stage Power Performing Arts Schools, the brainchild of award-winning Musical Director Lisa St Clair and British Singer and Educator Karen Malim, is launching on March 12th with an innovative and exciting program for the March Break. The Stage Power team of experienced professional coaches and workshop leaders invites all 7 to 18 year olds to come fire up your imaginations, hone your theatre skills and discover some hidden passions and talents!
Alongside the core theatre disciplines of dance, drama and singing the March break program offers a thought-provoking introduction to other related theatre disciplines, including, but not limited to, mime, and mask work, circus skills, stage combat, CoreSinging® and theatrical make-up.
The week culminates with a presentation at the Al Whittle Theatre where students get to show off some of the skills they have learned.
