The Literacy Mile is a fun event to raise awareness of and support for the literacy needs of Annapolis Valley residents. There will be hot dogs and refreshments for sale, live music, a silent auction, and activities for the whole family. Corporate and individual donations can be made. Walk-a-thon walkers also raise money from pledges. All proceeds raised will go toward supporting local literacy and English as a Second Language programming.
