Set against the damp foliage of the Pacific Northwest, Jack (Mark Duplass), still reeling from his brother's death a year earlier, retreats to the remote vacation home of friend Iris (Emily Blunt) who is also his brother’s ex. Upon his arrival, Jack unexpectedly finds Iris' sister Hannah (Rosemarie DeWitt) there for similar purposes, and the two quickly get to know each other over an evening of tequila.
