We are marking the day when women became "persons" under the law and could be appointed to Senate: October 18, 1929.
Proceeds will go to LEAF (the Women's Legal Education and Action Fund, a charitable organization that works towards ensuring the law guarantees substantive equality for all women in Canada
Topics of discussion will include....
• Women in Leadership positions
• Women in the workplace and family: achieving a balanced lifestyle
• Women and Poverty
• Changes in the roles of women over time
