Brian Vardigans
Saturday February 21, 2009  8pm - 10pm (2 Hours)
Music

Saturday, Feb. 21st, 2009 will be the debut release of Brian's CD, entitled Springhill. The songs from his CD are already receiving radio airplay on several folk radio stations in the USA and Canada as well as the CBC in Atlantic Canada. This will be an evening of acoustic (no drums) music with his friends.

Greg Simm known for his work at The Ship's Company Theatre, The Johnny Cash show Man In Black, Neptune Theatre Productions, including the Mamas and Papas show and work with artists, Natalie Mac Master, Gordon Stobbe, and John Gracie, will provide multiple -guitar support and levity.

James Bell ( Jim ) will play bass, sing a song or two, and play the Hammered Dulcimer with its unique and haunting sound; a percussive, harp like quality. The music is pre-baroque.

The evening will include songs from the new CD Springhill, and Late At Night released in 2003 for which Brian was invited to showcase his music at the 2003 East Coast Music Awards.

You will also hear a cover of one of Lennie Gallant's songs, Island Clay as well as one of Gordon Lightfoot's, Song For a Winter's Night.

We look forward to seeing you there.
