Millions know their voices, but do we know their names? Director Morgan Neville shines a spotlight on the untold story of the backup singers behind some of the 20th century’s great music legends. A tribute to these “unsung” voices, the film is also a reflection on conflicts, sacrifices and rewards of careers spent harmonizing.
