The 6th annual spring Drum Night show. This year, we are proud to feature Toronto's Juno-nominated Indo-fusion group 'autorickshaw'.
This exciting groove-oriented band is led by vocalist/composer Suba Sankaran. (Suba was featured with her father, master drummer Trichy Sankaran, at last year's Drum Night.)
The grooves run deep in autorickshaw, with two "top-flight, export quality" percussionists (Ed Hanley on tabla, and Patrick Graham on frame drums and multi-kit) along with the multi-talented Dylan Bell on six-string electric bass.
The first half of our Drum Night show will be a set of dynamic duos and trios (and at least one quintet!) featuring myself and all four members of the band. Then after the intermission, autorickshaw will fill the hall with their soulful blend of sounds and grooves - Indian, jazz, funk, and more.

Pricing: Tickets are $15 in advance and are available online at www.worldinwolfville.com. Any tickets remaining will be available at the door for $20.
