Join A Royal Consort Community Choir for a musical look back at 1914. The sounds of artillery, the looming zeppelins, the demonstrations for women’s suffrage, the temperance movement parades, and the relentless onset of the new industrial era, are all remembered in song and verse.

Join the celebration and take a musical journey that captures the mood of concert halls, cafés, theatres and opera houses during a year that changed the world. The year’s top tune, the melodies of the London Proms and the marching songs of the Great War give a glimpse of the important role music played on the home and fighting fronts.

So pack up your troubles, warm-up your vocal chords, and remember a year when Charlie Chaplin graced the silver screen, vaudeville was king and the Model-T rolled off the assembly line in basic black.
