'Drinking Alone' - A play by Norm Foster, performed by The Annapolis District Drama Group.

In Drinking Alone, Canadian playwright Norm Foster gives us a superbly crafted play about family relationships and the need to love and be loved.

A gathering of the Todd family sets the stage for a series of revelations about long-standing grievances, insecurities and misunderstandings. Amidst all of the name-calling, finger-pointing and general mayhem, certain unexpected and startling truths emerge.

Regardless of whose side you might be on, this family's quest for understanding and redemption is guaranteed to make you laugh and even shed a tear or two.

Drinking Alone features ADDG regulars Colleen Rowland, Ashlea Viola, Eloise Mailman and Adrian Nette, along with Don Carter of the Digby Area Theatrical Society (DATS). The play is directed by Verilea Ellis, with Jennifer Batiot as stage manager.
