ARTs Unleashed! brings nine days of unbridled visual, literary, culinary and performing arts, themed tours and more in Annapolis Royal August 16 through 24.
Did you know that you could create prints of little people using flowers, leaves and grasses? Print your own enchanted figures with the art found in nature. For budding artists, 5 to 12 years of age, accompanied by an adult join the team at North Hills Museum and 'Squish a Faerie" - Flora and Fauna printing.
Other events today include The Art of Torchis with Jef Achenbach at the Sinclair Inn Museum, Native Coil Style Basket Making w/local elephant grass class (free) at 221 St. Anthony Street Gallery with Sarah Pavia, Mi’kmaq Culture Days at Port-Royal National Historic Site, Candlelight Graveyard Tour (Meet at the Parking Lot of Fort Anne NHS), the Festival of Dance at the King’s Theatre and so much more!
