In addition to the normal risks of theatre, the provocative, acclaimed Belarus Free Theatre also faces censorship, imprisonment and worse. From a desolate, repressive country, smuggled footage and uncensored interviews document the work, on stage and in the streets, of this imaginative and subversive troupe torn between art or safety, repression or exile.
