THE END OF DEMOCRACY? The Prime Minister once boasted, “You won’t recognize Canada when I’m through with it.” This event is a consideration of the changes taking place in Canada and where it is headed.
The evening will focus on signs of Fascism in the US and ask if Canada is showing similar characteristics under the current government. 2 shorts videos will be followed by a discussion, aided by handouts, outlining the signs of fascism. Cinéma Politique is sponsored by WAPP (Wolfville Advocates for Progressive Politics).
