Singer songwriter Karen Robinson's original music with a 5-piece big band sound and Special Guest: Dancer, Michel Dubé, Atlantic Ballroom Dance Champion for five consecutive years.
Karen’s unique turns of phrase and fresh melodies draw audiences in, and the band’s artistry leaves them wanting more.
The show will feature new songs plus all of the songs from Karen’s CD of original music, “Karen Robinson With”, 2014 Music Nova Scotia Award nominee. “The range of expression is vast; the songs are rich and complex…” (Stephen Cooke, Chronicle Herald, Pick of the Week, November 7, 2013.) Karen and the band received a standing ovation at the 2014 TD Halifax Jazz Festival.
