Investing close to home grows the local economy to meet a region’s needs for sustainably produced food and other goods. This contributes to the economic success of farmers, food producers, manufacturers, distributors, restaurants and grocers, and provides access to healthy, affordable food and other goods, and helps insure a sustainable and prosperous future for the region. We will learn more about what options are available in the Valley and Nova Scotia and how we can contribute to the economy, sustainability and the environment.
