He attended the Conservatoire de Montréal, University of Western Ontario, Glenn Gould School in Toronto, and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Université de Montréal. Upon graduation Desautels was appointed principal clarinet of the Orquestra Filarmônica de Minas Gerais, one of the most distinguished orchestras in Brazil, a position he held from 2008 to 2012, until he accepted the same position with Symphony Nova Scotia. He performs internationally as a chamber musician, recitalist, and soloist with orchestras, on the radio, and on television.
Jennifer Jones - Violin

Jennifer obtained a Master of Music degree in Performance and Pedagogy at Indiana University, under the direction of Josef Gingold. Jennifer has performed as a soloist with the NSYO, Dalhousie Chamber Orchestra, Chebucto Orchestra, Saint John Symphony and Symphony Nova Scotia.
