The workshop includes outdoor street theatre on the afternoon of Friday, August 21 and cumulates with the performance of an original play at 7:00pm, Friday, August 21st. The workshop as well as performance will take place on stage at King's Theatre. The children will create the play themselves and be involved in all aspects of the stage production.
Children are asked to bring their own lunch each day. Comfortable clothing is encouraged along with a paint shirt. Black tops and bottoms will be the basis for a performance costume. Children who play a musical instrument are surely encouraged to bring it along. To develop continuity and get the most from the sessions it is necessary for the children to be present each day of the workshop. No previous experience is required.
