“I founded our meetup with questions of who are we; what we are doing here? Non-duality principles were to be a philosophical foundation, but not the main or the only topic of discussion. I wanted to take that approach, as many people turning to the spiritual path were disillusioned with traditional, hierarchical, patriarchal, organized religions. The mission of Science and Nonduality (SAND) is to forge a new paradigm in spirituality, one that is not dictated by religious dogma, but that is rather based on timeless wisdom traditions of the world, informed by cutting-edge science, and grounded in direct experience.
