"Annie Pootoogook" - This observational portrait follows Inuit artist Annie Pootoogook for two one week periods in Cape Dorset as she works at the print cooperative, draws in her sparse apartment, visits family and pursues daily activities. In actuality footage and voice over dialogue, Annie describes the family and community events that shaped her.
"Ghost Noise" - Ghost Noise leads the viewer into the magical world of third generation Inuit artist, Shuvinai Ashoona. The film mirrors the poetry found within Ashoona’s meticulously detailed drawings that deftly reflect personal experience, psychological perception, Inuit mythology and the arctic landscape.
Third film is directed by Annette Maangard.
"Kinngait: Riding Light into the World" - Set in the Canadian Arctic, this is an intimate, first-hand account of how the isolated Inuit community of Cape Dorset became the internationally celebrated art capital of the North.
