Event in Room: Studio-Z
Despite a growing local food movement most consumers are unaware of how food is being altered right under their collective noses.
Av Singh, of the Just Us! Centre for Small Farms in Grand Pré, will present some video & lead a discussion about 'what's being cooked up' on the agriculture front — it ain't your momma's kitchen! New genetic engineering techniques; untested farming practices; and so-called food-safety protocols are signalling the end of food as we know it!
