Dilip Mehta, with sister, Deepa, collaborate on an effervescent, satirical, social comedy about an unsuspecting couple (Lisa Ray, Don McKellar) posted to New Delhi in the Canadian Diplomatic Service. They inherit a household of Indian servants headed by the deliciously comic cook, Stella (Seema Biswas) and an especially devout Hindu nanny, Tannu (Shriya Saran).
