This new documentary examines the myth alongside the man, and
the incongruities between the private/public persona of Glenn Gould. A charismatic figure – attractive, humorous, well-spoken, iconoclastic – Gould also carried eccentricities which made a public life painful for him. Compiling a wealth of footage, some never seen, and rare interviews with friends and lovers, the directors allowed only the artist, and those closest to him, to tell the story.
