Pippa Lee (Robin Wright Penn) positively glows with female serenity. Devoted wife of an accomplished publisher (Alan Arkin) thirty years her senior, proud mother of successful twins and trusted confidant to all, Pippa dutifully follows her husband to a staid retirement community where her idyllic world and persona are put to the test. On a bittersweet journey of self-discovery, Pippa must confront her volatile past and the hidden resentment of her “perfect life” in order to find her true self. By turns wry, humorous, and moving— with Blake Lively, Maria Bello, Julianne Moore, Keanu Reeves, Winona Ryder, Zoe Kazan, and Monica Belluci.
