A music-infused cinematic journey about the power of one man's voice to inspire change, this mesmerizing documentary follows Grammy-winning artist and Senegalese singer Youssou N’dour for over two years, sharing the story of his album "Egypt," which presented his Islamic faith as a peaceable and tolerant religion.
While the record received international acclaim, it was denounced as blasphemy in his native Senegal. One of Time magazines “100 most influential people in the world” N’Dour faced the challenges his album presented, eventually winning over audiences both at home and abroad.
