A real time documentation of the search for a reincarnated Tibetan master told through the eyes of his lifelong disciple, this is the journey of Tenzin Zopa. Visually stunning, emotionally gripping, and shot over the course of four years (The ‘child’ must be found within four years, before becoming too attached to parents), the film follows an ages-old sacred quest through this remarkable attendant instructed by the Dalai Lama. By helicopter, mule and foot he crosses lands with starkly beautiful mountains and small villages that appear unchanged for centuries. “A trek that is less about reincarnation than it is about reunion – something most can understand and appreciate."
