Ariana Nasr and Curtis Thorpe are pleased to be performing at the Al Whittle Theatre on June 9 in celebration of their new CD "Padam Padam". Expect to hear soaring soul songs, French heartbreak, and many things in between. Brought to you via rail all the way from Montréal, this show will be performed in multiple languages (including English!) and involve all the instruments they can carry.
About the CD:
With "Padam Padam", Ariana Nasr and Curtis Thorpe have assembled a collection of classic popular songs from France, the Balkans and North America. This CD is sung in 4 languages and performed using the myriad instruments played by Nasr & Thorpe: guitar, saxophone, harmonicas, violin, clarinet, accordion, bass, and percussion. Engineered, mixed and mastered by Tom Roscoe and recorded at Highland Place in Wolfville and S+M in Montréal.
