Movie / Film Community Event Wheelchair Accessible All Ages
Presented by Al Whittle Theatre, Devour the Food Film Fest, Just Us Coffee Roasters
[email protected]
902-542-3344
Classic 1973 con movie starring the iconic duo of Paul Newman and Robert Redford. Following the murder of a mutual friend, aspiring con man Johnny Hooker teams up with old pro Henry Gondorff to take revenge on the ruthless crime boss responsible, Doyle Lonnegan. Hooker and Gondorff set about implementing an elaborate scheme, one so crafty that Lonnegan won't even know he's been swindled. As their big con unfolds, however, things don't go according to plan, requiring some last-minute improvisation by the undaunted duo.
Just Us will be staying open until 8:00 and selling popcorn and a specialty cocktail based on the film!
Big thanks to our series sponsors https://devourfest.com/ and https://justuscoffee.com/ for making this summer series possible!
