Los Primos 2018 will include:
Augusto Enriquez – guitar and voice
Pedro Enriquez – guitar and voice
Alison Enriquez – violin and voice
Jeff Goodspeed – sax and flute
Alejandro Enriquizes – percussion
David Burton – drums
Carla Bezanson– piano
Matt MacLennan – bass
Artistic director Jeff Goodspeed and international Cuban recording artist Augusto Enriquez lead Los Primos, and feature some of the most promising and inspired young musicians from Havana.
The Los Primos Project has been contributing to the education of an entire generation of musicians. Started in 1997 to help music education in Cuba deal with instrument shortages, and to inspire our young Nova Scotia musicians by giving them the opportunity to perform with Cuban music students and professionals.
