- This is Warner Bros. Animation’s second original animated feature (after 2016’s Storks).
- Developed from an original idea by Sergio Pablos (Despicable Me).
- Director Ryan O’Loughlin was a story artist on The Croods and character designer on Rise of the Guardians.
