He was 2003 ECMA (East Coast Music Award) Winner for “Bluegrass Artist Of The Year” (which he also won in 1996). ALAN JEFFRIES has been called one of the best guitar players in Nova Scotia by the likes of JP Cormier, and his band is celebrated as one of the best Bluegrass groups in the biz.
A resident of Annapolis Royal, Alan is well-known to audiences worldwide. He has been touring with David Myles for the past ten years, and was named Atlantic Canada Bluegrass and Oldtime Music Association’s Bluegrass Guitar Player of the Year in 2005.
