Join us for the opening of still/life, an exhibition of drawings by Halifax-based artist, Ian McKinnon.
The exhibition, still/life will comprise a hoped-for 200 drawings. The small panels will be installed so as to suggest a tessellation of the gallery wall/s.
The exhibition will include a 4-week residency in the gallery space itself where I will continue to make daily drawings of objects brought to me by members of the public. The culmination will be closing rather than an opening, with the drawings representing the community installed at that time.
