​This workshop is something that everyone can participate in as you do not have to be a published author, a professional writer, or even have an interest in writing beyond your memoirs.
The workshop, over two days, will teach techniques for short storytelling that will enhance the telling of memoirs, structuring, and tips for telling life stories.

Brenda Thompson
Author Brenda Thompson has written numerous plays, books, and guides as well as contributed to academic research and publications. A social activist for many years, much of Thompson's work has centered around social issues and local history, she was a recipient of the Atlantic Centre for Excellence in Women's Health award. Brenda has an M.A. from Acadia University and a B.A. from Mount Saint Vincent University.
