Noted Mi’kmaw artist Alan Syliboy along with Mika Francis, Emma Stevens, and Rachel Whitney will be expressing their cultural roots through song, drumming and visual art. Alan has long used his art to foster relations and raise awareness. Mika and Rachel from Melgita't Women, along with Emma Stevens, weave traditional teachings with songs to honour the knowledge and resilience of their ancestors and communities. Alan's live art creation accompanied by stories and song will bring an experience that is both educational and healing.
