Music All Ages

Strange times lead to unexpected opportunities, and we are over the moon to announce that Music In Communities is presenting Measha Brueggergosman and her band!
Measha is generously offering these performances as a fundraiser for the Music For Kids programs. Music In Communities is a non-profit cooperative advocating for music literacy, engagement and inclusivity in Nova Scotia. We have ongoing workshops and are building programs for youth at risk, after-school ukulele clubs in Kings County, Girls & Guitars sessions, "school of rock" for girls and non-binary youth, workshops and jam sessions for teens, and more. These programs offer kids a way to engage in music and provide positive outlets for their creativity and a release for emotional stresses in what has been a tough year for everyone. They also provide employment for musicians, and new ways to put their skills to use, connect with their community, and foster future music-lovers and listeners.
A huge thank you is also owed to the Acadia Performing Arts Series, who are helping to promote and cover the production costs of pulling this show together with tight time-lines.
Non-perishable food items will be collected at the show for the Wolfville Area Food Bank.
