Uncle Vanya
, - (2 Hours)
Theatre / Play All Ages
Presented by Wolfville Theatre Collective
Theatre Performance
Anton Chekhov’s play Uncle Vanya offers an exploration of the lives of a group of characters who all, in different ways, are faced with difficult decisions. Unrequited love, lives at their end, and lives in youthful transformation are all in play. Comedic moments also find generous expression. The play offers no pat answers to life’s questions. Endurance, what the heart desires, and human struggle give pace to this gem from Chekhov.
