Tom Waits is an iconic musician, writer and actor. He writes with a wry - sometimes self-deprecating - sense of humour often tinged with a socially-aware commentary.
Four distinctive singers - Graham Howes, Hazel Walker, François Côté and special guest Sarah Pound - perform their interpretation of Tom Waits' songs backed by a superb trio of musicians with Graham on keyboards, Nicholas D'Amato on string bass and Mike Carroll on drums.
Popular favourites such as 'Rosie', 'I Hope That I Don't Fall In Love With You' and 'San Diego Serenade' will be interspersed with a few that are maybe not so familiar. In any event, a night to be remembered enhanced by the wonderful audio production found in a live theatre setting.
