Two years after his wife's unexpected death, a renowned stage actor and director, receives an offer to direct a production of Uncle Vanya at a theater festival in Hiroshima. There, he meets a taciturn young woman assigned by the festival to chauffeur him in his beloved red Saab 900. As the production's premiere approaches, tensions mount amongst the cast and crew. Forced to confront painful truths raised from his past, the director begins - with the help of his driver - to face the haunting mysteries his wife left behind.
Until further notice and due to new covid restrictions, social distancing will be required in the theatre for this screening. Seating will be limited and seats assigned at the door, first come, first served. If you are able to "bubble" with another group or family, please let us know at the door so we can maximize the seating to allow as many guests as possible.
Proof of vaccination required to enter the theatre (for 12 and older). Masks are required indoors.
