Musical Theatre Camp for Youth ages 7-14 with Andrew Morrisey
Aug. 22 – 26, 2022
9:30am – 4:30pm at King’s Theatre
There will be a Final Performances on the last day for friends and family.
Participants are asked to bring their own snacks, lunch, and beverages.
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Do you love to sing, dance and act? Well, this is the camp for you! We’ll learn songs, scenes and dances, play theatre games and learn and rehearse a show to be presented for family and friends on the final day. Laughing is encouraged! Come to have a blast and you just might discover some talent you didn’t know you had.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Andrew Morrisey is a New York based actor, singer and teacher, originally from Truro, NS. Andrew is a graduate of Sheridan College’s Music Theatre– Performance program, as well as Circle in the Square Theatre School’s acting program. In 2012, he attended the International Cabaret Conference at Yale University. He has been in countless musicals, plays and cabarets. His most recent cabaret was directed by Tony Award winner, Faith Prince. Presently, Andrew teaches singing lessons at two studios in the New York area. His students have won countless awards, gained acceptance into top musical theatre schools and starred in regional and Broadway musicals. Having created and lead musical theater camps for more than a decade, Andrew is excited to discover all the talent in Annapolis Royal!
