DOORS OPEN FOR CHURCHES 2022 is a province-wide series of tours of Places of Worship presented by the Heritage Trust of Nova Scotia. Churches are becoming endangered, especially in rural Nova Scotia. While many are still well used, some of these buildings are no longer in active use for worship. Yet they represent a significant community resource that was highly valued by early settlers. Please join us in celebrating these markers of our communities' history and culture. Take this opportunity to visit and learn about the stories attached to their history.
