We are rug hookers. We love everything about it. We love the feel of the wool in our hands, the repetitive satisfaction as we pull each loop tight, the unique interplay of colour, shape and texture in every rug. Using this traditional art-form to tug ideas into reality with strips of wool makes our
artist-hearts very happy. The entire experience from beginning to end is woven tightly with our love of colour, texture and rich Maritime history.
We collaborate to create our SATUPONS. Imagining the designs, sourcing the materials, dyeing and cutting the wool, all happen before the hooking can even begin. Our finished designs are one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by Maritime places, stories, and traditions.
