Bright, bold colours are part of the healing therapy that Lorne Alexander Julien, a proud Mi’kmaw artist and member of Millbrook First Nation, Nova Scotia is bringing to ARTSPLACE Gallery in Annapolis Royal. Lorne specializes in contemporary, Indigenous, acrylic paintings and murals.
“Healing Journey” opens Sat. August 6, 2022 from 12-2 pm with an opening ceremony at 12:30 that includes drumming, singing, and smudging conducted by Wanda Finigan from Bear River First Nation (L’sitkuk). Light refreshments served, all welcome. The exhibition runs to September 17.
